Mary’s journey encompasses
every facet of competitive tennis—from
distinguished collegiate play to the professional circuit on the WTA Tour, and into coaching at the Division I level. Her multifaceted experience underpins our core belief: every player possesses the potential to excel with the right guidance and mindset.
​
At Michigan State University, Mary distinguished herself as a two-time All-Big Ten selection, team captain, and recipient of the ITA Midwest Region Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award. She was also honored with the national ITA Cissie Leary Sportsmanship Award, recognizing her inspiring dedication, character, and commitment to her team—qualities that exemplify the spirit of college tennis.

Following her collegiate career, Mary transitioned to the professional circuit, competing on the WTA Tour and achieving a current singles ranking of No. 658 and doubles ranking of No. 354. Concurrently, she returned to her alma mater to serve as an assistant coach for the Michigan State women’s tennis program from Fall 2023 through Spring 2025, mentoring athletes both on and off the court.

Mary’s philosophy is rooted in using her wealth of experience to teach others how to grow and become motivated in the skills they already possess. She emphasizes strategic development, mental resilience, and leadership, helping athletes build confidence and unlock their full potential.


Elizabeth Profit
Tennis Coach & Mentor
Elizabeth is a former Division I
tennis player who competed for
Baylor University and the University
of Tennessee, two of the nation’s top programs. Before college, she was ranked No. 3 nationally in her class and recognized as a Blue Chip prospect by TennisRecruiting.net. Throughout her career, she competed while managing type 1 diabetes and balancing the pressures of elite athletics and other stressors—experiences that shaped her resilience and perspective.

After her collegiate career, Elizabeth transitioned into coaching and program leadership. She served as the Director of the SMU Junior Tennis Program for three years, where she developed high-performance juniors, expanded program offerings, and strengthened the program’s reputation within the Dallas tennis community. Her coaching approach blends elite-level playing experience, technical development, and an emphasis on discipline, confidence, and long-term athletic growth.

​Elizabeth brings deep experience as both a competitor and coach, and remains committed to growing the game, developing young athletes, and helping players reach their highest potential.
Known for her calm but motivating presence, she uses a holistic framework that blends technique, strategy, mental preparation, and confidence-building. Her goal is to help every player whether recreational or competitive reach their potential through thoughtful, focused, and empowering coaching.
